Oh! Ah! New Christmas Gadgets to Admire!

Well I guess you can say that I was on Santa's "Nice" list this year! Check out some of the yummy kitchen goodies that were under my tree (and in my stocking) this Christmas...

I can't wait to get cookin', but where to begin?

Well, who doesn't love cupcakes?

My mom gifted me with several varieties of CUTE cupcake cups! Silicone flower shapes, a variety of regular cups with AWESOME patterns, and heavy-duty cups that don't need a cupcake pan! I've never used the latter before, have you?

My friend Sandy gave me this AWESOME collapsible cupcake/cake carrier- it can hold lots of cupcakes with special shelves OR a cake without squishing anything. I can't wait to use it!

I found these little decorative ice cube trays in my stocking- they would be perfect for little candies or festive flavored ice cubes to add to party drinks!

LOVE my message cookie kit and cookie/cupcake decorating set from Mommy! Don't forget this awesome homemade ice cream holder from my little bro. Oh and I can't forget those adorable cupcake decorative wraps. :)

Thanks Jennifer for the VERY COOL rotating cake plate!! I'm so excited to put this baby to work! :)

Also obsessed with my new non-slip mixing bowls from my brother! A girl can never have too many of these...

And all of these little stocking-stuffer-wonders make my heart go pitter-patter!!

Have you ever made an Ebelskevir?

Me neither, but thanks to my sweet momma, I now have everything I need to try these puppies out! They come in sweet and savory varieties and apparently make mouth-watering apps and treats that are party-perfect.

Did i mention I've also been doing some heavy reading ?

SO many good recipes in here. Has anyone tried anything yet? I've got my eye on SO many things. My favorite part is how each recipe has a story of how it came to be. :)

And just guess how obsessed I am with this SWEET recipe book from my "favorite" Auntie Brenda? She and I are kindred-kitchen souls! :)

She even spent time hand-writing some of our family's most-loved recipes inside. Isn't she the BEST?

And last, but not least, my favorite new "gadget" or should I say Rebel...

This was a huge surprise from my sweet bf. I am now desperate for some photography classes so I don't put my amazing sidekick to shame! Anyone have any recommendations in Austin?

Do you have any of these "Gadgets"? What is your favorite thing to make with them?

Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

  4. After Mrs. Claus brought you all these lovely cooking tools, it's a shame she doesn't get to sample any of the products... Maybe she'll have to plan a little visit??? But what about Baby Jackson???

  5. Haha Mrs. Claus is welcome for a visit anytime! And Baby Jackson can probably squeeze into his under-the-seat airplane carrier and come too! :)
